If you do not need a sagging or leaning water feature, then use this heavy duty grate to keep it upright and level. The sturdy, self supporting platform requires no additional supports for most water features. It is commonly used to cover water basins or reservoirs that strengthen bubbling rocks, vases, pottery or imitation rocks. You’ll be able to also use this black grate to construct a pondless waterfall or different pondless water feature.
NOTE: If the platform is used for a very heavy boulder, then cinder blocks can also be added, allowing the grate to strengthen almost 1,000 pounds.
GREAT SIZE FOR A VARIETY OF USES
The platform is about 3 feet wide, 3 feet long and 2 5/8 inches thick. It may be cut with a saw if necessary, such as to add a pump access door.

ALLOWS CUTTING FOR ADAPTABILITY: Even though this grate is made of heavy duty plastic, It may be cut with a saw to revise it as needed. For example, sawing could also be done to create a pump access door in it.
